Amazing fragrance, perfect for cooler weather and gloomier days. This fragrance perfectly blends its two notes to create a melancholic mood, and almost ghostly scent. It is a perfect blend between dark and light, and was my favorite perfume out of the samples I purchased.

Melancholy and clean with incense. It reminds me of sitting in an empty church before mass. Absolutely love it!

Light, clean, musky, dry woods & incense. Almost haunting, one of my favorite scents of all time!

L'orpheline

Simple, skinlike, perfect for layering if you want give a melancholic touch to another perfumes.

This fragrance is androgynous, gothic and perfect for gray rainy days. A must have in my collection right now.

When I first dotted this onto a paper strip, it impressed me as straight up cologne. BUT after it sat for a few minutes, it mellowed into a warm, spicy and slightly sweet scent. It was so familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on how. I've seen other reviews mention shaving cream, and I can totally see that, but I also get original Old Spice. This perfume reminds me of being very small and laying in bed with my mom while my dad got ready for work. It smells like a fresh shower in the 90s, spicy and nice with a hint of shower humidity.

It’s not terrible, but I just wouldn’t wear it because I’m not looking for after-shave nostalgia. If that’s what your searching for than this is the scent for you.

I searched all over the place for what notes are in this fragrance, and Scent Split was the only place I saw mention of patchouli, so I hoped that was a mistake. It's not! If I loved patchouli (or even liked it) I'd probably wear this everywhere, but unfortunately for me I just can't abide. It's my own fault! :)
