Abel was founded in 2013 by former winemaker Frances Shoemack with the vision of creating distinctive, contemporary scents using 100% natural ingredients. The brand combines the artistry of master perfumers with developments in biotechnology to create natural fragrances with improved performance and longevity.

Working with master perfumer Isaac Sinclair and biochemist Dr. Fanny Grau, Abel explores the relationship between art, science, and natural perfumery. The brand uses innovative, low-impact biotechnology and upcycled ingredients, reflecting its focus on modern fragrance creation and more responsible formulation.
