Leatherize

Use this sparingly as you really do not need a lot; apply too much and it'll have the quality of liquid smoke, before Leatherize dries down it surely does have a strong liquid smoke/campfire quality.
Once it dries down however, it does have a fairly leather like scent, it reminds me of polishing my boots. It's very gruff and erotic, I like layering it with Dirty Heaven.

It's quite sad it's been discontinued. It's basic, sexy and perfect for layering. A little bit goes a hugely long way.

This perfume is substantial. It could be dinner replacing food. It is mysterious, dark, sent of something maybe a castle great room at three in the morning. I don’t no it might be from Dragon land.

Love that this smells exactly like leather. Great for layering underneath other scents, probably not as a standalone. Pairs with some of my warmer ouds very nicely. Such a rich addition

Leatherize

My friend received his early birthday gift because he just couldn’t wait til’ the actually day! Lol. He says, “Leatherize is nice and beastly.” He layered it with a triple spray of a cherry scent and made it very dark with super projection.

Leather is probably by favorite perfume note after vetiver, and I've tried dozens of leather frags but THIS is leather. D.S & Durga has been a pretty hit or miss brand for me, but when they nail it, they really do, and they did here. A really smoky, dark leather. You definitely get the warmth of the cade and thar oily, animalic depth of the castoreum. Peppery, and also a bit metallic from the iris but it's all blends really well. I'm surprised there's no saffron or birch because it has those facets but it never gets over bearing. Easily one of the better, more realistic leather scents I've tried.
