The brand name references the legendary realm of Agarthi, a subterranean world explored in philosophical texts by Plato and further developed through the Hollow Earth theories proposed by figures like Edmond Halley. These ideas later influenced 19th-century literature, becoming a foundation for Agarthi’s conceptual approach.

The brand’s fragrances are positioned as an olfactory exploration of this imagined inner world—an immersive, multi-sensory journey shaped by a team with backgrounds in marketing, design, and artistic perfumery.
