Paco Rabanne brings back the trend of aquatic fragrances with editions inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory, Invictus from 2013 and Olympéa from 2015. The new releases Invictus Aqua and Olympéa Aqua are out in early 2016, further emphasizing the aquatic character of these compositions.
Invictus Aqua begins with an energetic combination of grapefruit, yuzu and pink pepper. Marine notes in the heart are wrapped in an herbal violet leaf accord. The powerful scent of guaiac wood is paired with ambergris and woody amber in the base.
LOVE this scent. It's strong but not overpowering. Has a...sexy rain..scent. It's masculine but just feminine enough to where a female could where it too. Hard to describe. My husband and I have been sharing it but honestly I've been wearing it more than he has. Definitely should have ordered a bigger bottle. 10/10!!
Not a bad smelling fragrance just not long lasting at all. Im glad I didnt waste money on a full size bottle
Siblings didn't really like it and neither do I. It smells clean but the undertone is anamalic to my nose, which is strange because there isn't oud in the fragrance
The dry-down is tolerable, but the opening is actually offensive. It is harsh and repulsive. There is something in there that drives me away.
