A wild bush of roses with all its tiny pricks serves as the inspiration muse for Tom Ford’s contemporary chypre floral cult fragrance. Rose Prick is plain in smell, yet by hiring Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, and May rose, and a piercing cover of fiery Sichuan peppercorns and turmeric that give the impression of the thorns, the rosy aura attains an unusually sexy quality which has an enormous impact. The more lovely and fresh, the more it hurts. In the base, the Indonesian patchouli and tonka bean leave a warm sensual air through the roses.
