An homage to the unspoiled beauty of Sardinia, an island between Italy and Tunisia. Imagine a long stretch of rugged coastline, the crash of emerald waves against the rocky shore and a hot summer wind stirring up all the tantalizing scents of the amazing Mediterranean flora. The predominant note here is fig – a warm, dry fig with a deep, satisfying sweetness that mingles with wood, freshly cut grass and sharp myrtle. This smells like the last days of summer , when green has turned to gold and fruit is ripening in the bright sun. Very different from green or milky fig scents, this wild and windswept version is a must-try for all fig lovers.

Notes:

myrtle, fig-tree wood, cut grass

Ichnusa

Fig with a little bit of coconut and some vegetal notes. Very pleasant unisex fragrance that stays with me most of the day. The vegetal notes aren't as prominent as some folks online make it sound. Really just a well balanced Summer/Spring fragrance that's easy to wear – feels easy but special too. FWIW, works way better in warmer weather. I tried it in colder weather and was underwhelmed, but it really shined once I tried it after it got warmer outside.

No Longevity :(

Disappointed in this one. It started great – sharp, green, and bitter. But almost any scent had completely faded within the first hour and I was left smelling vaguely like chlorine. If you’ve ever walked past the vent outside a YMCA where the pool is, that was the exact smell coming off my skin. Even this faded within the second hour and then I was left with nothing. I’ve tried it on twice now (even over-sprayed the second time) and it should be right up my ally because I LOVE bitter, realistic green or herbal scents, but this only lasts for an hour and the green fades so fast. For the price of a full bottle, it’s absolutely not justifiable.

So fresh and so clean.

The title says it all. This is the cleanest scent I have *ever* smelled without smelling soapy or astringent. It's all fresh air, cut grass (it actually smells like fresh cut grass), and trimmed green branches. I am going to purchase a full bottle and wear all spring. Incredible!
