La Habana is inspired by that bygone era, a stylish and seductive blend of sweet, smoky resins with an unmistakable sense of glamour. That's due to the arresting spicy opening, which uses a twist of saffron to ground the sparkle of aldehydes with a lightly dirty sexiness. As the resin, incense, and vanilla heart emerges, all of Havana's most legendary vices are detectable- the sweet smokiness of hand-rolled cigars, the warm richness of aged rum, and a whiff of animalic desire that only increases with the oud and balsam base.
