Music Festival by Maison Martin Margiela is a Woody Chypre fragrance for women and men.
Music Festival is made with interesting materials around a captivating idea. The perfume captures the exuberant experience of a music festival where the throbbing music mixes with the smell of cannabis which is covered with patchouli essence. The perfume makes a flashback to the time of hippies when they used to mask the vibrant smell of the grass with dense patchouli oils. The intensity of this duet is accompanied by cedarwood, cypress, incense, tobacco, and a hint of a leather accord. Music Festival is an unconventional fragrance.

This is a very nicely balanced smoky, spicy, sweet woody fragrance. Pleasantly sweeter than I expected. I definitely get the vibes of an apple cinnamon pastry, with a touch of incense and sharp cypress. There’s supposed to be a cannabis note. If it’s in there it doesn’t come through as marijuana, maybe it just adds to the herbal notes. Great smell! Only downside is that I don’t get much projection from it. Wish I had a bigger sample so I could spray more.
Love this one! Not to overpowering.
If you are looking for something that smells like a music festival; this is majorly missing the mark. Generic, dries down sweet. Would not recommend
As a former weed connoisseur, I can confidently say that this fragrance does not smell like the devil's lettuce at all. The cannabis note comes across very faint, similar to the smell you get when you walk into a head shop. Overall, the dry down is much better than the opening, but I still wouldn't say it's one of my favorite M.M. frags. Not bad, but not great either.
Great scent for going to shows when the country opens back up. Also Frank has outstanding customer service!
