Gris Charnel is warm, whimsical, inviting, and suggesting perfume that depicts a delightful retro atmosphere in which several ingredients alloy and create a new identity. The fragrance begins with heady cardamom, infused with fig fruit and black tea. While a soft heart of iris and Bourbon vetiver adds an earthy and powdery render to the fig and cardamom, creamy sandalwood dominates and embraces all.

This fragrance is definitely for mature women; not grandma per say, but someone in her 50's. At first, it smelled a little bit like Vix Vapor Rub. It smelled a little minty and herby. Then dries down to a sophisticated smell. Imagine an older Parisian woman. This is what it smells like.
Love this perfume! It last long enough until to the next day.

Pretty, sweet, safe. Not offensive is any way. A little heavy for some days in my opinion.

Wanted to try this as I heard quite a few raving reviews. Gris Charnel does not disappoint. It is not an overbearing scent and has great staying power. I love how fresh it is with a touch of creamy. Beautiful!!
