The Ultimate Clean Frag

I loved this fragrance. Perfectly unisex, does not lean either masc or fem in its composition: in the words of thanos, perfectly balanced, as all things should be. Has a bright, crisp opening of clean, juicy citrus that almost feels watery, with slight undertones of soap (but not cleaner-ish! amazing!) It's subtle, with the florals coming in super light and delicate as the perfume continues to wear. The aquatics blend amazingly with the hints of citrus, leaving a really "round" and harmonious scent instead of the screechy lemon-pledge notes one so often finds in citrus perfumery compounds. Smells just like one of those really juicy, watery clementines you get during the summer, without the punchiness of the peel, and you're eating it with freshly washed hands that still have a mild scent of soap. As it ages and dries down, within about 15-30 minutes, the bulk of the citrus evaporates, and it goes full clean-soapy, but it doesn't feel outdated or lysol-ish. Instead, Lucienne is smooth, elegant, and refined, a perfect clean-skin fragrance with the ultimate freshness for summer days. This middle phase smells like you just stepped out of a Paris penthouse shower. The end is even more subtle: barely-there, smells like a touch of fresh rain or soft humidity on the skin. My only complaint: projection and longevity. Don't expect this to last more than three hours, or be anything more than a skin scent. Absolute masterpiece of a clean fragrance, however performance is lacking.

Overall: Scent is beautifully watery/aquatic with the perfect balance of subtle florals and juicy tang. Heck, this is how aquatics should be done, in my opinion. Stunning clean effect, lovely scent profile, but the projection and longevity simply aren't there.
