I would give it 5stars but it took a while to get in.
Will end up buying a bottle. Thanks Scent Split.
This smells really good, no too masculine but it’s one of those scents one would normally find masculine considering the notes are consistent with a man’s fragrance. But my husband and I both loved this scent and bought the full size from Nordstrom after trying.
I have been wanting to try Byredo scents for a while but as they are very expensive I never did. I tend to get headaches from certain perfumes so buying 'blindly' often leaves me with a perfume I end up never using. Scent Split is a great way to try scents in a financially accessible way, love it!
This is not a usual scent, as many Byredo perfumes are. After the first squirt the fruity sweetness wrapped up my body, but in just a few seconds the notes of patchouli, leather and vanilla revealed themselves in the most wonderful way. I was transformed into a leather couch with a old copy of Jane Eyre or War and Peace. I could smell the dusty vintage pages of the novel and dream of witnessing the most wonderful literary adventures. I love it!
