Velvet Tonka displays the multifaceted characteristics of tonka bean in the core of the fragrance. The trio of tonka bean, almond, and orange blossom forms the main identity of Velvet Tonka. In the heart to adorn the oriental delicacy of tonka bean, a sugary resinous aroma, a dense rose, ambroxan, vanilla absolute, and an amber-dipped woody aroma join the game.

This is not a pretty scent, it is gorgeous, sweet, vanillic, with warmth and grown up interest. Not for a young girl but a beautiful woman. Confident, secure, and noticeable. I’d say this is more fall/winter and I will enjoy it for sure! Ordered a large sample bottle, arrived well packaged, cute with black tie, filled to the rim! Definitely worth getting a decant, they don’t short you at all, thank you scent split!
Velvet Tonka
Absolutely love this scent. Perfect for this time of the year. Very warm and cozy. Beautiful almond scent.
It smells good, don't get me wrong. It's just a lot more floral on me than I anticipated it being. With the name Velvet Tonka I thought it'd be more tonka forward. That almost cinnamon-like spicey, warm vanilla-ish scent I love so much... I was excited about the amyris, almond, amberwood and vanilla bean. I get the orange blossom, rose & tobacco more than everything else. The sample will be gifted to a friend of mine who always seems to bring out the edible notes in perfumes so hopefully I'll be able to smell what it was meant to be, on them.
This is a sweet smooth blend of velvety vanilla and tonka. The nutty and tobacco notes are faint to my nose but add to the smoothness of the blend. Might be a bit too sweet for some.
