Both breezy and aquatic, Sel Marin perfectly captures an early summer’s day spent at a quiet cove, a place absent of all fruity tropical oil smells and distractions when the only thing to concentrate on is the refreshing water, the soft sand and the salty sea air. A fleeting note of lemon opens this perfume only to be overtaken by a gentle wind carrying hints from the woods towering above the sea cliffs. The drift woods of cedar and birch dry in the blazing sun while vetiver and seaweed blend earth and ocean. Effortless and relaxing, Sel Marin is the perfect cure-all for a rainy day and a natural complement to a day spent walking in the sand.
lemon, Sicilian bergamot, sea salt, seaweed, vetiver, birch, cedar
This is by far the best and most unique aquatic fragrance I have ever tested. This isn’t the usual synthetic mess that doesn’t smell like anything real, but instead reminds you of having just gotten out of the ocean, standing with a towel wrapped around you, smelling the breeze as it dries your face. In addition, I have dry skin which pretty much kills all fragrances, but this lasts on me for hours, and for a fresh aquatic I find that amazing.
One of the best summer fragrances I've tried. It smells as if you spent a couple of hours on a wind swept beach. The salt and sand along with a dirty aspect, of fish or seaweed. The dirty aspect isn't overpowering but helps create a very realistic sense of the beach and ocean. It also has a sense of underlying spice and musk that reminds you that you're in fact wearing a fragrance.
Not overpowering and great for summer!
HAVE A FULL SIZE BOTTLE. Bought 10 ml to save contents of my full size bottle. The scent is the best /nothing to compare with this agreeable perfume.
