Brand Christian Dior
Dior launched a new fragrance as part of the exclusive collection La Collection Privée in May 2015. The new scent is centered on Venezuelan tonka beans, named Fève Délicieuse.
The perfume was created by in-house perfumer Francois Demachy as a sophisticated oriental – gourmand harmony. Tonka bean smells like a mixture between caramel, almonds and cut hay, milky sweet, but also bitter. The composition includes notes of
tonka bean, vanilla, caramel, cocoa, pralines and woody accords.
Definitely a winter fragrance that will have people wanting to eat you!
I was looking into buying a full bottle of Feve Delicieuse off the Dior site for $200+. Blind buying a fragrance for that price is unjustifiable, so I decided to look around for a sample and ran across Scent Split. I received my sample very quickly and gave it a wearing. I loved the smell and performance of the fragrance but it turns out I already own a fragrance that smell somewhat similar due to the vanilla and tonka bean notes shared across the two fragrances (Pure Tonka by Mugler). The ingredients in Feve Delicieuse smell more genuine but I figured it would be a redundant purchase so I decided against buying a full bottle for a while at least. Thanks to Scent Split for saving me some money in the short term!
This is one of my favorite fragrance. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
The perfume smells very beautiful, but the light glass has broken one of them and the other leaks the fragrance out
Profoundly beautiful scent! I can't wait to get my hands on a bottle immediately! This is a must try and is definitely worth the hype!
