Kalan by Parfums de Marly is an Oriental Spicy fragrance for women and men. Kalan was launched in 2019. Top notes are blood orange, black pepper and spices; middle notes are lavender and orange blossom; base notes are white sandalwood, moss, woody notes, amber and tonka bean.
Kalan is my new favorite fresh fragrance. It has enough fresh citrus for the warm weather and spicy enough for the cold.
My son has tried samples of Kalan, Layton, and Herod. Kalan was his favorite. It's earthy and masculine, and somewhat reminds Haltane that he already owns.

Love at 1st sniff. I really enjoy this scent. Not sure why some people complain about the opening. IMO it’s fantastic from opening spray to the dry down where it’s gets even better. Spicy citrus in the beginning and then transitions into a spicy woody scent. This one is a 10/10 with a strong projection and sillage… 6-8 sprays and people will take notice.
